I played the demo for Analog: A Hate Story. It’s a little mind bending reading accounts of the same incidents from two completely different world views. It almost seems reasonable when you read from the perspective of the people ensconced in the society that views women as property. They seem clearly backward, but it’s not contemptible. They are wrong but you don’t feel like they are villains. Then you start to get a view of the world from an outsider, a person born in a world where women are equals suddenly awoken in a world where she is property and how it eats away at her. From this perspective all reasonableness is washed away. Contemptible is back on the table. They are villains.
